The Mass is the Greatest Miracle
Jesus fulfills the Old Law

“You took no pleasure in holocausts or sacrifices for sin.”

The imperfect Sacrifices offered under the Old Law were prefigurements of the One Perfect Sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the ongoing Sacrifice of the Cross the Sacrifice of the Mass.

Why do we speak of the Old Law? Our Faith goes back to before the beginning of time. In order to understand Jesus’ Sacrifice, in order to fully understand His ongoing love for us through the Sacrifice of the Mass, we must know what God’s plan has been for us from the very beginning. So many people have a false, sometimes childish concept of God the Father. I know, I did. I would always say: “I love Jesus because He came to heal, to forgive; He died for us. God the Father is always punishing. He seems so angry.” That was before we came back to Jesus and His Church, and I started to study about God the Father.

The Liturgy of the Word

We know now why we wrote our first book: “This is My Body, this is My Blood, Miracles of the Eucharist - Book I. We know now why the Lord has placed it on our hearts to write this sequel. This is why! It’s the Mass! All we have written “is so much straw compared to the Eucharist”, to the Mass, to quote St. Thomas Aquinas when he saw a vision of Heaven. Jesus on the Cross For to us, the Mass is an earthly vision of what Heaven must be like. Over the last eight years, as we dug deeper and deeper into the Miracles of the Eucharist, we discovered, more and more, they all came about to bring to the Lord’s entire family the Truth that Jesus is alive and well, and He is in our Church.

 The Liturgy of the Eucharist

The Offertory In the Sermon on the Mount, His Sermon on the Beatitudes, which “are at the Heart of Jesus’ preaching,” 1 Jesus fed the multitudes 2 with hope that the fulfillment of the promises made to the chosen people since Abraham, could be theirs, ordering them to no longer desire possession of things below, but those Above, the eternal Kingdom of God. Having fed them in the Word, telling them that true blessedness and happiness could only be achieved through total dependence on God, or Anawim,  He felt they were ready for the Bread of Life. They had followed Him to Capharnaum. There, He told them they could only have eternal happiness and life if they ate His Body and drank His Blood, the Eucharist. When they argued, “ ‘How can this man give us His flesh to eat?’ Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.’”
