She was an italian teenager that part of the Focalare Movement, ( Its purpose is to work cooperatively to build a more united world, following the inspiration of Jesus' prayer to the Father “May they all be one” (John 17:21), respecting and valuing diversity.Nov 13, 2020/wiki) ). She was born in Italy on October 25, 1971. She was diagnosed with a painful bone cancer, and died at the age of 19 on October 7, 1990.
She was declared "Blessed" on September 2010. Her last words as she died were "mum be happy, because I am".
Bring her to your home so she can be a constant reminder of how important it is to live by our faith and pray for her intercession when in need of a cure of an illness.
She is a wonderful example & role model for today's youth.
These were made by a group of widows that have lost their husbands due to the violence in Colombia. They are hand painted and come from the Liscano Collection.
