We praise You, dear Lord Jesus. We bless your Holy Name. You give us everything we need just when we need it. In a time when virtues like Obedience, Commitment, Chastity, Modesty, Accountability are all but lost to our modern society, you give us a Dina Bélanger, a precious child of Jesus, who embraced all these qualities. She was a nun who died at 32 years old in 1929, and was beatified by His Holiness Pope John Paul II on March 20, 1993.1 What blessings the Lord has given us through this woman of the Twentieth Century, whose most important attribute was her total, unconditional love of Jesus. We are allowed to delve into the life of this most special friend and child of God. Researching the life of a beautiful servant of Jesus and Mary has been a treasure for us, from which we can learn and prosper in our relationship with our Heavenly Family. Blessed Dina was aided man times in her lifetime by our Lady, and by the Saints and the Angels who were assigned to her, to protect her on her pilgrimage of life, her Journey of Faith.
We share about our travel North to Canada to uncover the life of a modern day Mystic Blessed Dina Belanger.
We trace her life from her days as a concert pianist to her life as a Sister in Sillery, Québec.
Bob and Penny take you through the events of her life in the Convent in Sillery, Bellechasse, Québec and her beatification in Rome.
