You are purchasing a beautiful large 11.5" on  Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati . Blessed Pier Giorgio one of the most important Saints in our Church today, co-patron of the Italian Youth and a Role Model for our young people for today.He was known as the man of the 8 beatitudes. He was part of the Catholic Social Justice and Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. HIs charitable outreach had no limits, he would always help & assisted the poor.
He was an avid mountaineer. ( That is why, he is know by the image of this statue)

He was born in Turin, Italy.  He died on July 4, 1925 due to polio. His last words were " May I breathe forth my soul in peace with you".  His remains are in Turin Cathedral and upon further inspection in 1981 found that his body was incorrupt.

This statue comes from Fiat Imports: The statues are made with resin or fiberglass. They work with people in Colombia that are in need of work to survive and help the family. They trained them until the point they feel capable to paint on their own which makes them very happy and proud of their own work

Measures: 11.5" H x  6" x 4" base. Made of resin/fiberglass mix.  Please see pictures for details.
